Choose The License You Need

The right font makes a difference, and so does its license. Select one or more of our license and go back to designing with the freedom, speed, and coverage you need.

General License

Every font purchased is actually licensed to individuals/household/company rather computers, devices, or locations. Each time you purchase fonts from Omotu Studio, you’ll always be required to define the total number of users/household/company who will be using the fonts.

DESKTOP LICENSE

Can be used for:

    • 1 User
    • 5 Commercial project
    • Unlimited personal project
    • 2 Computers installation
    • Blog: unlimited usage
    • End product for sale (product, print ads/digital impresions/merchandise): 1,000 Sales/prints/pcs

Can not be used for:

    • Monetized social media (youtube, instagram, facebook): unlimited usage
    • Embedding fonts. Must always be used in rasterized form
    • Logo usage/logotype
    • Web, web app, app, or game
    • eBook/printed book

WEBFONT LICENSE

Can be used for:

    • 1 Website
    • For licensee’s web app and website usage only
    • Embedding fonts using @font-face
    • Monthly webpage views: unlimited views

Can not be used for:

    • Design or print-on-demand applications
    • Web app, app, or game

E-PUB LICENSE

    • 1 licensed eBook/printed book title
    • For licensee’s eBook/printed book usage only
    • Unlimited for publications intended for Kindles, iPads or other PDF Readers
    • Embedding fonts. font can be embedded in epubs, but cannot be extractable

MONETIZED SOCIAL MEDIA LICENSE

Can be used for:

    • 1 licensed monetized social media account
    • Unlimited monetized social media usage and event videos
    • For licensee’s social media account usage only

Can not be used for:

    • Commercial project for licensee’s customer

PROFESSIONAL LICENSE

    • Up to 2 user
    • 4 Computer installation
    • Logo usage/logotype
    • Unlimited personal project
    • 10 Commercial project
    • 1 licensed monetized social media account owned or managed by the licensee
    • Blog: unlimited usage
    • End product for sale (product/print ads/digital impressions/merchandise): 10.000 prints/sales/pcs
    • 1 Licensed website
    • For licensee’s web app and website usage only
    • Embedding fonts using @font-face
    • Monthly webpage views: unlimited views

EXTENDED LICENSE

    • Max 10 user
    • Max 20 computer installation
    • Logo usage/logotype
    • Unlimited commercial & personal
    • Monetized social media: unlimited usage
    • Blog: unlimited usage
    • End product for sale (product/print ads/digital impressions/merchandise): unlimited prints/sales/pcs
    • Unlimited website
    • Embedding fonts using @font-face
    • Monthly webpage views: unlimited views

APP/GAME LICENSE

Can be used for:

    • 1 App/web app/game tittle
    • For licensee’s app/web app/game usage only
    • Font can be embedded but cannot extractable
    • Unlimited app views or game views

Can not be used for:

    • Design or print-on-demand applications

BROADCAST LICENSE

Can be used for:

    • 1 licensed company/household
    • Unlimited users & installation within your company/household
    • Unlimited licensee’s national broadcasting usage
    • Unlimited for video/movies/tv/motion graphic
    • Unlimited national broadcasting usage
    • Unlimited social media usage
    • Unlimited advertisements usage
    • Unlimited website usage

Can not be used for:

    • Design or print-on-demand applications
    • Physical end product for sale
    • Apps/games/web app

SERVER LICENSE

    • 1 licensed web/app/web app title
    • For licensee’s web app, website, app usage only
    • Embedding fonts only within the licensee’s website
    • Monthly webpage views: unlimited views
    • Allow web app/web user to use font only within the licensee’s website
    • Design or print-on-demand applications

NATIONAL CORPORATE LICENSE

    • 1 Corporate/brand
    • Unlimited user & installation
    • Unlimited commercial project
    • Unlimited web views

If your usage doesn’t meet our existing licenses, you may to contact us for a custom license to cover your commercial usage of any Omotu Studio font.

  • You may not open, edit, or modify fonts. Convert to paths and editing in programs such as Illustrator are permitted, provided the results are not converted back to font software for redistribution.
  • You cannot redistribute fonts because copyright is still with us.
  • Editing and/or changing the font name is not permitted, this is not an original font creation and does not negate the original license terms. The device can provide special font designs, adaptations and related licenses for all your needs.
  • Using font elements as the basis for new fonts is not permitted.
  • Respect for copyright – the legal consequences of using non-licensed or adapted fonts can be very expensive and result in the removal of all offensive copies. Poorly adapted fonts are often found to have a number of serious technical and design errors, the most common being missing kerning (contextual letter space), missing characters, bad spaces, incorrect point construction, clash ID fonts and missing counters because of the wrong direction. Legal, safe.

  • If you use Omotu Studio Font for commercial without buying license before, you will be charged the Corporate License according to product marketing scale.
  • You can not reupload Omotu Studio font in your website wihout our permission, you will be charged Corporate License for this mistake.

This license is valid for purchasing font products from January 2019.

Bahasa Indonesia:

  • Anda tidak boleh membuka, mengedit, atau memodifikasi font. Konversi font menjadi path/objek dalam program seperti Illustrator diizinkan, asalkan hasilnya tidak dikonversi kembali menjadi font untuk redistribusi.
  • Anda tidak dapat mendistribusikan ulang font karena hak cipta adalah milik Omotu Studio.
  • Mengedit dan/atau mengubah nama font tidak diizinkan, ini sangat dilarang karena melanggar hak cipta.
  • Dilarang mengupload ulang font Omotu Studio di website manapun tanpa seizin Omotu Studio.
  • Membajak atau menjiplak font Omotu Studio kemudian menjualnya kembali akan dikenakan denda 2x lisensi corporate.
  • Menggunakan bagian dari font Omotu Studio untuk dijadikan font baru sangat dilarang.
  • Menghormati hak cipta – konsekuensi hukum dari penggunaan font yang tidak berlisensi atau yang diadaptasi bisa sangat mahal dan mengakibatkan penghapusan semua salinan ofensif. Font yang diadaptasi dengan buruk sering ditemukan memiliki sejumlah kesalahan teknis dan desain yang serius, yang paling umum adalah kerning yang hilang (ruang huruf kontekstual), karakter yang hilang, spasi buruk, konstruksi titik yang salah, font ID benturan dan penghitung yang hilang karena arah yang salah.
  • Anda berhak membeli font dengan harga dan lisensi yang tertera untuk project yang akan anda lakukan. Contoh: Anda tertarik dengan salah satu font Omotu Studio versi demo yang ada di dafont, anda memiliki project yang akan menggunakan font tersebut, maka anda berhak membeli font Omotu Studio versi komersil di omotustudio.com sesuai harga dan lisensi komersil yang ada.
  • Anda tidak berhak membeli font dengan harga dan lisensi yang tertera  jika anda TELAH  menggunakan font-font Omotu Studio versi DEMO untuk keperluan komersil/iklan. Contoh: Anda mengunduh font Omotu Studio versi DEMO di dafont, lalu menggunakannya untuk kebutuhan komersil, entah iklan, cetak, merchandise, tanpa membeli font versi komersilnya terlebih dahulu. Dalam hal ini anda akan dikenakan biaya sebesar lisensi corporate. 
  • Dilarang mendaftarkan/men-trademark logo (trademark, registered, dan sejenisnya) menggunakan font Omotu Studio tanpa membeli font dimaksud atau tanpa izin dari Omotu Studio. Mendaftarkan logo tanpa izin menggunakan font Omotu Studio akan dikenakan denda lisensi corporate. Silahkan hubungi kami mengenai pendaftaran merek dagang logo.
